Our services are designed to provide employers
with a confidential and highly effective screening system
that works in close conjunction with your own
personnel.
With Short-List.com, you are not tied into any
restrictive contracts and there is no percentage based
recruitment fee to pay at the end of the
exercise.
All services are offered on an "as required"
basis, so if you want to use us for one vacancy, but not
others, that's fine.
For the budget conscious, we offer various
payment options, including per application, per vacancy,
per project or we'll even work out a
cost-effective day rate, so you will always be in
control of your recruitment spend.
Whatever option you choose, you'll only pay for
the work we do and we won't penalise you for paying
higher salaries!
How The Service
Works
Although there are several flexible options, the
most popular service involves applications being
confidentially routed to Short-List.com, whether at
source (using our address on your advertisements) or
application forwarding by email, post or
telephone.
Screening
Procedure
David Carter, a highly experienced recruitment
professional undertakes the screening on your behalf.
Your candidates and your staff will only ever have to
deal with one point of contact.
In a typical exercise, this will
involve:
- Initial CV
screening against your own selection
criteria
- Written rejection of unsuccessful
applications on your stationery, or provision of
mail-merged names and addresses for your own
administration.
- In-depth telephone interview with relevant
applicants to provide second level of screening down
to a predetermined number of
candidates.
The service is extremely flexible and is so cost
effective that you can also include
agency applications for pre-screening, putting an end to the
barrage of sales follow-up calls that all employers experience
during recruitment exercises.
